Doru Roman leads Sagemcom's dedicated team of customer support professionals in the prompt and effective delivery of technical assistance to XMediusFAX, LightningFAX, and XTrax users. Doru and his expert staff offer technical support through phone, email, and cutting-edge Web-based tools. They also provide onsite support services such as technical training, software customization, and project management.
Doru has almost 20 years of IT experience in various technical positions, including IT manager, systems engineer, and network LAN/WAN manager. Prior to his role at Sagemcom, Doru worked for companies such as Aeroterm Management and Frisco Bay Industries. He has solid international experience from his employment with Amco Press and the Romanian Ministry of National Defense.
Currently completing an MBA program at Université Laval, Doru holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from the Technical Military Academy in Bucharest, Romania. Doru continuously upgrades his technical skills, taking courses in telecommunications, ERP systems, and system management.
