Interstar Technologies Inc., a leading developer of network fax server technology, today announced the appointment of Mr. Guy D. Blanchette as President and Chief Executive Officer of Interstar Technologies. His appointment became effective
Mr. Blanchette had been a sales manager at Bomara Associates from 1996 to 1997, when he joined Omtool Ltd., a major fax server developer. He has held various positions within Omtool, such as Director of Sales, North American Inside Sales Manager and Territory Manager. In May 2000, Mr. Blanchette was named Senior Vice President Sales at Omtool.
Mr. Blanchette has a proven track record in sales and management with over 18 years experience in the retail and high tech sectors. He has also owned a small business. Mr. Blanchette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of New Hampshire.

Mr. Blanchette succeeds Mr. Di Perno, who has taken a new role with Interstar Technologies as Vice President Corporate Accounts in order to concentrate on the acquisition of OEM partners.
