New Office to Address European Customers, VARs and OEM Partners; Expand Reseller Network

Interstar Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its first European sales office, to be based in the UK. The new office’s mission is to address European customers, VARs and OEM partners, and to expand Interstar’s network of resellers. Leading the Euro sales team will be Ian Panton, who takes on the title of Regional Manager UK.
Mr. Panton has 23 years’ experience within the IT industry and has most recently held the position of Sales Director with a specialist Information Security consultancy. His experience includes both sales and consultancy in the networking, communications and mainframe environments and he has held senior positions within IBM, DEC and Alcatel.
“Opening a European office was a natural step for us,” stated Interstar’s president and CEO, Guy Blanchette. “With the emergence of a unified European market, the timing was perfect for us to bring sales and technical support even closer to our European customers and resellers.” Added Interstar VP Worldwide Sales, Michael DiPerno, “Ian has a unique blend of industry expertise, extensive contacts and a thorough understanding of the European market; he was our first choice to head up this important venture.”
Interstar’s European office opens February 22nd, 2002. The office will be located at Carn Poldrouse House, Black Rock, Camborne, Cornwall TR14 9NG, United Kingdom.
