Improved Site Offers Products, Information, and Support to Interstar Technologies’ Clients, Channel Partners, and Developers

Interstar Technologies, a global leader in the development of enterprise fax solutions for converged IP networks, launched today its revitalized xmediusfax.sagemcom.com web site, produced by Montreal-based interactive consultants Zeff Media. The new site, a redesign of an existing site originally created in 2001, offers visitors trial versions of Interstar’s award-winning enterprise fax server solutions, 24-hour support, global channel partner contacts, white papers, corporate information, news, and more.
Interstar and Zeff Media restructured the public-facing site to meet Interstar’s corporate and user objectives, reorganizing the content to be intuitive, quick, and easily accessible. “The new site is a successful study in usability and user-centered design,” noted A.J. Kandy, Interstar’s in-house Creative Guru. “In the first week following launch, we’ve already seen a favourable response to the site, marked by increased traffic, product demo download requests, calls to our support center, and even online CV submissions.”
The site, conceived by Interstar and produced by Zeff Media, was designed, coded, and launched in less than 60 days. “We worked very closely and efficiently with strict regard to the short timeline that we were challenged with,” said Aleece Germano, Senior Consultant for Zeff Media and a veteran of public IT-consulting giant Razorfish. “Zeff Media delivered expertise and value on time and on budget,” added Peter Godber, Interstar’s Director of Marketing.
The two companies are partnering to bring Phase II of the site online for early spring,adding features such as a reseller extranet, a custom-development site, and a sophisticated Web traffic analysis system that will enable Interstar to more closely monitor its site activity.
