Former Ace*Comm Chief Marketing Officer to Drive Growth

Interstar Technologies Inc., the pre-eminent developer of enterprise fax solutions for converged Internet Protocol (IP) networks, announced today the appointment of Martin Demers as the company's new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Demers brings more than 18 years of senior management experience in the telecommunications and information technology sectors. Most recently, Mr. Demers was Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at ACE*COMM Corporation, a global provider of advanced operations support systems (OSS) technologies to carriers, government agencies and Fortune 500 enterprises, where he had taken on progressively senior roles since joining in 1996. Prior to ACE*COMM, Mr. Demers had established a strong track record of success in managing large-scale international hardware and software development projects with CAE Electronics, Foxboro, and Teleglobe. Mr. Demers holds a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Ottawa University, and a Masters of Business Administration from McGill University.
